Bank voted 7-2 for no change
The monetary policy committee's February vote was 7-2 for no change in Bank rate, with only the two new boys, Tim Besley and Andrew Sentance, voting for a hike to 5.5%. While the vote was as expected, the details were regarded by the markets as marginally more dovish than expected. Details here.
