It is the biggest question for the financial markets. Here is an editorial from today's Economist on the importance of the new Federal Reserve chairman. Ben Bernanke, the former Fed governor who chairs the White House Council of Economic Advisers, is favourite. Other prominent names in the frame include Martin Feldstein, Glenn Hubbard, Larry Lindsey and Donald Kohn.
