A slice of UK monetarist history

I've always been interested in the development of monetarist economic policy in Britain under Margaret Thatcher. In the mid-1980s I wrote a book called The Rise and Fall of Monetarism - still obtainable from one or two outlets. One of the fascinating things about that period was the influence of the City of London on the development of policy and, in particular the role of Gordon Pepper and the W.Greenwell monetary bulletin. Now Dr Michael Oliver has drawn together that Greenwell research in what is a very useful resource.
